The Publication plugin is able to generate nicely formatted references automatically if you provide it with a doi. I think I have found the issue of the datepicker in the event manager. I commented out line 480 in cbox-theme/engine/include/metaboxes/init.php to suppress the loading of some custom jQuery library. So far there seems to be no collateral damage… Setting define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true) in wp-config also fixes this… Oh well…
